Preservation Wayne celebrates 30 years of saving Detroit

Preservation Wayne is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The organization, which was founded by two WSU students, is headquartered in the university's Mackenzie House, once the home of the university's presidents. Saving that structure from demolition was the first cause pursued by the nonprofit group when it was founded.
